Ingredients
- 2 large onions thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons date syrup
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onion and stirring occasionally, cook for 10-15 minutes until soft and translucent.
- Reduce your heat setting to low and add LIVA date syrup.
- Combine well and cook for another 30-40 minutes until the mixture is a deep golden brown and caramelized.
- Don’t forget to stir every so often. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
