This is due to the fibre content of dates, it helps slow the digestion of carbohydrates (in this case, the natural sugars found in dates) into the bloodstream.

Our date sugar and date syrup are solar-dried then gently milled into a fine powder and syrup - no added extras or unnecessary handling!

Our syrup is heated ever so carefully to the minimum required temperature in order to produce the gorgeous syrup we love- and our date sugar/powder is raw!
