Our version of the classic banana bread will be one you'll want to make over and over again for friends, family and as a special treat for yourself. Made without refined sugars and packed with nutrients its good for your gut and soul.
Ingredients
- 2 large ripe bananas
2 eggs
1/3 cup avocado oil
2 tbsp milk of your choice
2 tsp vanilla (paste or extract)
3 tbsp crème fraiche (sour cream and Greek yogurt work too)
1 heaping tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 tablespoons of LIVA Date Powder
1 1/3 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 squirts of LIVA Date Syrup
1 cup chopped walnuts
- Optional: 1/4-1/2 cup chocolate chips
Directions
Grease and line a 9" x 5" loaf pan with parchment paper.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Using a stand mixer, slowly mix in each ingredient one at a time until each is combined with the mix in the bowl.
Bake the loaf for 40 minutes to 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Once done, let the loaf rest on a cooling rack for 20-30 minutes.
Remove from pan and enjoy!
