I use Liva date sugar to make hot chocolate, and its just terrific.........mix ~tablespoon of date sugar with ~teaspoon of chocolate powder in your cup, mix thoroughly while water is heating, add one-half cup boiling water or more, mix vigorously then add milk as required/desired.

This is really gorgeous date sugar - it's super finely milled and blends into recipes very smoothly. I've used it as a substitute for white sugar at a 1:1 ratio in all manner of baking (pizzelles, a chocolate cake, an apple cake, and a blueberry pie) and it's worked fantastically in all of them. This is very well made and no more white sugar. My regular staple now.
